I've been a basketball fan since 1999. I was watching NBA and loving Indiana Pacers crazily in 1999 ~ 2002. I also regard basketball as my favorite sport game.
I'm really looking forward to enjoying the American Olympic team compete, particularly with our Chinese team. Tonight, China men's national Basketball team is going to confront with the "8th Dream Team" at 22:15. That would be very interesting and exciting! Many NBA stars as well as Chinese super star Ming Yao will present us an amazing game!
There are also a funny tip just now, from the basketball star Kobe Bryant. Kobe said, if the U.S could not get the gold medal, he will give up the U.S citizenship and join Italy with a new name "Kobe Giova(not sure)"
Anyway, let's enjoy this wounderful game!
This is a picture of Kobe in China found in Baidu.com (Aug, 10)

I'm rooting for the USA! I hope these big names can put their egos aside and work together as a team. Anyway, the Games look very promising for China this time. I have read of Project 119 which was a Chinese government effort to systematically target improvements in medal rich sports in the Olympics. I know nothing of how each country manages their Olympics sports program, but its interesting to think about national differences in how this is approached. The athletes from the tiny, poor countries are probably the ones that deserve the most praise for what they have to do to compete in the Games!
The game just finished. the USA 101-70 defeated China. It's really a very interesting game. Anyway, the Chinese team is getting stronger :)
The China men's national Basketball team is becoming stronger and stronger all this years, but the football team make us despair time after time.
Dream sometimes is dream after all! There was no surprise on the result of that match. And of course Kobe Bryant doesn't need to change his name.....lol
Nevertheless, I think the China Men's National team did their best. I send my respect to them all!
I think Kobe loves Pizza, that may conclude why he's going for the citizenship of Italy, haha.
I love Pizza too :)
