I hope these big names can put their egos aside and work together as a team. Anyway, the Games look very promising for China this time. I have read of Project 119 which was a Chinese government effort to systematically target improvements in medal rich sports in the Olympics. I know nothing of how each country manages their Olympics sports program, but its interesting to think about national differences in how this is approached. The athletes from the tiny, poor countries are probably the ones that deserve the most praise for what they have to do to compete in the Games! I'm rooting for the USA!
