Happy New Year! May your 2010 be happy, healthy and successful.
Congrats on your site's new home.
Unfortunately, I think blaming and complaining are sometimes the only way to change things for the better.
You're right. Major online tools are taken away from the Chinese all the time. If the younger generation don't say something, doesn't that signal to the government that they can just keep censoring and censoring?
I realize it's easier said than done. Punishments for speaking out in China are harsher than in most countries.
I hope that, in 2010, China opens up more to the rest of the world, instead of closing itself off. That's one of my new year's wishes. But it won't come automatically if nobody ever complains.
I really enjoy reading IfGoGo and all the young, China voices here. I see perspectives I wouldn't elsewhere. Keep up the great work!
And happy new year, again.
