Hi,I'm Yaowen Wu@Aachen,Germany. I'm enrolling in a Media Information Master Program in RWTH Aachen University. I guess I'm the 1st fish coming from Europe, I'm glad to share some european life here with all of you. I'm a true football fan, AW must have a nice understanding of that, so I have to admit that europe is really a paradise for me. Aside from my study, I always spend lots of time travelling and watching all kinds of soccer matches in stadium. From the fantastic Barca-Real Madrid, Milan Derby, to the nobody-known U19 match of North Germany League, I think I have a good feeling of european football. I think this is the most attractive thing to me. And of course, there's also something else good or bad. If you are interested, I would like to share. Very nice to meet you all!

Look forward to hearing your thoughts here on ifgogo! Welcome. Since you live in Germany, I'd love to get your comments on a post I wrote highlighting some infographics by Yang Liu about East vs. West culture with a focus on Germany. Look forward to hearing more from you here!

Yeah I'm from Wuhan, classmate of AW. The ticket price is very different.German league's normally 10 to 30 euro. But Milan Derby was only 21 euro. That's a big deal. The 3:3 Barca VS Real Madrid should have costed me more than 100 euro. But I was really lucky, with the help of a stadium policeman,I paid nothing.Of course, that's another story. Germany is,after my travelling other 10 big european countries, the best-constructed one.The people here is polite,except some old ones, at least they are outlooking like this.But u never know exactly what they are thinking,they're always silent.Maybe they think as suicidal novelists or, demons.And they do.One thing for sure, it's not easy to get a view of their deep spirits.Haha,so that's it.I'm going for my lab now.C u later.

Welcome you, Bravowyw, an active fish coming from a far ocean. lol

I visited France once in last century and had the opportunity to visit Berlin and the famous Grand Church in Cologne), as well as another city Bonn, located at the Rhine. I have had the impression that German people are very polite and kind. I am also told by my husband and his brother who were dealing with German people very often that German people are warm-hearted and hospitable like our Shandongnese.

And we can also know some natures of Genman by:
Kant, the founder of classical philosophy of Germany;
Goethe and Heine, the famous romantic poets of the world;
Beethoven and Bach, two of my favorite musicians,; etc, and even:
Hitle, that nortorlous killer in last century.....

In my limited idea on German, I think they might be the most thoughtful and careful people in the world. Am I right?

I love Kant.
"Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe the more often and steadily we reflect upon them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me."

Cheers, mate. As a Berkeley alumni, I love your shirt, by the way. Since you're in Germany, maybe you can give us some opinions on this girl's recent impressions about "brainwashed" Germans (original Chinese version here).
