You may know from what has been said above, there has a song called "say hello" from Rossie Thomas. That was what I wanna to say to the whole lovely guys on Ifgogo today. (Absolutely I'll never mind to sing my favorite song to everyone here, the voice sounding will harsh to your ear. Hah~)

Now let's get dawn to brass tacks:）

My name's Lu Liu, from Hunan Huaihua. I'm a sophomore in Wuhan University of Science and Engineering, the computer science is my speciality what I had taken a real liking to.

As a new author I believe whosover in here all has his/her own personality, that's why AW make the decision to build Ifgogo to collect all the different thought from everyone, everywhere. A great share, is it so?

My personality was more described like a noisy boy. Hah~ I played Counter-Strike more than 6 years since my junior middle school, is it sound strange? I'm not a professional student under the examination-oriented education system of being recognized by myself. That's why I'm here, Wuhan, not in Beijing 2008:(  But I love the place where I lived 2 years at present, too many wonderful memories happenned here. 

Any also I like to found what interesting in people's normal life use abnormal mode, you'll be think it's strange behavior and hardly understand ? Okay, I'll show you all in my near summer vacation. Thx for welcome :）

Update on June 28:

There's now another video with some other perspectives of this plane. So, I don't think it's fake:

The name of the author is "Bin Xu", aka "徐斌" in Chinese. Due to his flight been judged "improper" in China by some department, I cannot find any of his material now. But I will try to update this post. Thanks for understanding and I have to say, if the previous video offend you guys, this video may regarded as an 'apologize'.

I've been very busy with some private stuff recently. Sorry for no news for a while. Of course, I am also working on the code behind ifgogo project. And there will be a very fair "rewarding system" for every author.

Today, I'm gonna share you something popular on the internet in China. Here is an awesome and popular-spread video about a farmer's DIY airplane. And it has a very cool name among Chinese people: "Shanzhai huaxiangji".

It's a funny story and let me tell you here:

Shanzhai, aka 山寨 in Chinese, means "little mountain village"; "Huaxiangji", aka 滑翔机 in Chinese, means "glider". I use airplane here just to let you know that's something flying on the air ;)

So why people say that the stuff is coming from some villages? Sounds weird? Well, it turns to another story in China. Date back to 2007, due to an open(maybe leak?) source of MTK platfrom (a wireless communication development platform), there are millions of cell phone factories burst out in south China. These factories made lots of famous-brand cell-phone-copies in a short period of time. They just copied the outline and software design from Nokia, Apple iPhone etc. The manufacturing cost is very low so many people are involved. However, these cell phones are not all completely copied. They are even totally redesigned and added a lot of features. A brand called "NCIKA" even went very popular in China. People're even joking that the farmers in big mountains can develop and design a cell phone too. So many people call it "Shanzhai Ji" (Ji, aka 机, means machine in Chinese, here means cell phone) and then the name is widespread in China.

Since then, many funny/weird stuff from ordinary people are called "shanzhai" something, and that's why this plane is named "Shanzhai Huaxiangji" in Chinese :)

Love & Responsibility - Memory of Earthquake

Full month ago near this moment on the day today, the shocking Sichuan Earthquake happened.....

A lot of things I did and many photos I watched as well as so much news I heard during the last month are now all bumping into my heart and let me tear....

Then I understand deeply that the best nature of our great Chinese Nation is love and responsibility!

Since we people love our motherland and nation, we could do donation with money, materials and even blood without any hesitation.  Since many individual volunteers love others, they could run at once to help the victims in disaster area. Since our Premier Wen Jiabao also loves the people, he could manage to get the disaster area at the first time and called out all country for help. Also, there is our Great Army and many root officials who did well and contributed greatly in the rescue...

However, only love is not enough. There is existing the Responsibility by which we Chinese People joined in forces to fight with the earthquake..

I believe that our China is prospective! I believe that the Chinese People is hopeful! With the enlightenment got from this disaster and other lessons, we will build a more blooming China!

We are Bound by a Golden Thread Called Friendship

　　Dear fellows, I’d like to begin my article with heartfelt gratitude to our administrator, Mr. Guo. Without his painstaking efforts, this website would not have come into being, and we, people from different parts of the world, would not be able to meet each other online, either. The cyberspace, just like a long and lovely thread, binds people of common interests together. Owing to its development, we now can post writings, exchange ideas and get enlightenment in this wonderful garden. With the passage of time, there lies the possibility that we could establish closer relationships here. “If you have friends who know your heart, distance can not keep you apart”, as an old saying goes.

　　To speak of Mr. Guo, I cannot help but recall the wonderful story of him. If my memory serves me right, two years ago, I happened to visit awflasher.com, and got to know its designer, whose inexhaustible passion, infinite ingenuity, and immeasurable expertise touched me immensely, and urged me to make friends with that talented guy. Luckily, I managed to have his QQ number and chatted with him on and off via the Internet. No matter how busy he was, Mr. Guo treated me with great patience and kindness every time I asked him some technical questions. Therefore, from the past till present, I do believe that he is the kind of person in whom you can have confidence, a person to whom you can turn for help, and a person from whom you can learn a lot. It is true that we are still not bosom friends, yet I enjoy being an ordinary net friend of him, just as another statement declares, “Subtle friendship is true; subtle greetings are enough; subtle love is tender; subtle longing is deep;subtle wishes come from the bottom of your heart.”

　　Admittedly, there is a limit to our life, but to knowledge there is no limit. On the way towards seeking knowledge and truth, I am filled with happiness since I have got so many people to travel all along with me , though our final destinations might not be the same. Thank you for being my friend!

Pondering deeply over the Earthquake

20 days passed after that Sichuan earthquake, but we people are still suffering from that huge disaster and feeling sad with the death and lost... Yes, there is still aftershocks everyday, many local people haven't settled down yet and the children there have to go to school at other places, etc....

However, besides paying close attention to so many issues there after the earthquake, I nowadays more and more keep my mind soaked into the meditation as follows:

1, Many children dies not due to the earthquake itself, but the bad quality of school buildings. I can never forget the photos which showed the died young lives and the helpless parents in front of the rubble piles..... Is that only God who can punish those dark minded constructors?

2, Our nation is really a good one with so many kind people who would like to donate when they are facing this disaster. Our current state government is also doing well on rescue. However, why not all the officials at all the time behaved so efficiently, so cleanly and so caringly before? I don't blame any individual official in any level of government, but I know deeply the key issue for creating bribe and corruption there. That was why I quit the official career with deep disappointment 15 years ago. I don't want to discuss deeply on such topic due to some well known reasons. I simply look forward to some historic transformation after this huge disaster!
