I am a little scared for the noise is really too big, just like some "big stuff" floating right above me. Then a roommate told me that they are helicopters.

People at SMTH (A very famous BBS in China, especially among people lived in Beijing) are also talking about this issue. They said it could make people feel more safe – that they are protected even from possible air attack?

However, I really hope there would be no terrorists and the Game would be successfully held. As the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games coming sooner and sooner, it's really a crisis time for everyone in Beijing.

FYI: Today is August 1st, also known as the 81th Army Day of China.
